FRANCIS aka FRANKIE the Dog needs a home

MEET FRANKIE-


Frankie was originally an owner surrender who got caught living in a no-pet apartment.  He was quickly adopted into a new home 7 months ago -- and we've just learned that it isn't working out - his human recently had a heart attack and Frankie has become very protective of his owner and starting trouble with the other dogs in the house.  Since he was the newest addition to the family, Frankie is the  one to leave.  :(  His ideal home would be where he is the ONLY dog. He is OK with other dogs when he is on his walks...  or sitting by your feet at an outdoor restaurant, he just doesn't want to LIVE with one. 


He's about 5 years old, neutered, chipped, up to date on all vaccines,  housebroken and loves people.  What a personality...!  Seven months ago he was at a healthy 64 lbs. but since then, he has gained a tremendous amount of weight (30 lbs.) and is now on a strict diet to get those excess pounds off him.     


He is back in our care and is living in a foster home in Fort Lauderdale but there is no reason why he can't lose those excess pounds in a new forever home.  DOWNLOAD AN APPLICATION NOW!
